About the Volvo V70

The Volvo V70 is a generous-sized executive car that is a comfortable rival to the likes of Ford Mondeo and Skoda Superb. Manufactured between 1996 and 2016 across three generations, it made a significant impact on the estate sector. Early generations were available with front and all-wheel drive and later additions included a crossover version called the V70 X and later the XC70, following suit with the new XC90. Petrol versions were eventually removed from sale, with the Volvo V70 being a predominately diesel only range.
