About the BMW 7 Series
This extremely spacious, flagship BMW model has evolved through numerous generations since its launch back in 1977, but luxury and innovative technology are still at its core. The BMW 7 series is surprisingly economical for such a large car and now offers a choice of engines. Early models only offered 6-cylinder engines, but more variety was added with each re-design, progressing to V8 and turbocharged V12 engines and the super-powerful xDrive - offering some of the quickest acceleration seen on a BMW. The 7 series is a pioneer in the BMW family and often introduces new technologies and design features that later appear on other models.
