Fuel Tanks replacement

The fuel tank is a storage system in the car. It holds the fuel that is to be used to power the vehicle. Each vehicle will have a different-sized fuel tank that tends to be located towards the rear of the vehicle, as far from the engine as possible. The tank must be positioned so that it is easy to fill and fumes must be allowed to escape so as not to endanger the safety of those in the vehicle. A pump is used to take the fuel from the tank to the engine.

Fuel tanks can be made from metal, either aluminium or steel or high-density polyethene (HDPE) which can be moulded to suit any shape necessary. They are the most cost-effective and also better for lower fuel emissions. Fuel tank leaks can be rare but dangerous, so regular checks must be made to ensure the integrity of the tank remains intact.
