Van & Car Heater Matrix replacement
The coolant and the water are heated with the help of the heater matrix and this is what warms the air coming into the car. The heater matrix works on the same principle as the radiator but on a much smaller scale. It is located in the heater box which can be found just behind the dashboard. The heater matrix can blow out hot or cold air and the temperature can usually be adjusted using knobs on the dashboard.
It is easy to tell if there is a fault with the heater matrix as it will not blow out the air needed. If hot air is needed but only cold air is coming out, even after the engine is warm, then this is a sure sign of a fault. Replacement parts may be needed, but they will need to be inspected by a professional. Regular servicing can help to catch any problems before additional damage is done to the vehicle.
